Leadership Definition:
Leadership is the act of making responsible decisions, listening to different perspectives, and guiding people to work equally to reach the common goal. The leadership term explains how people can build trust and reach their full potential. Also, leadership is an important skill in the workplace, as it enables individuals to be trained well and to learn from different experiences. An effective leader assists the people and organization to understand the leader’s behaviors, abilities, plans, and strategy in group work.

Leadership Competency
The leadership behavior and ability assignment was completed for the leadership and teamwork course. I am going to evaluate my work and skills using leadership competency indicators of success. In leadership indicator 1: Offers vision and purpose that inspires others’ confidence and following. I am at an advanced level.
The leadership ability and the leadership behavior assignment give me the chance to lead this assignment. In the leadership assignment, I was excited because I started to demonstrate how the leader can inspire and influence his group work. During the leadership behavior and ability assignment, I learned how to avoid the fear of committing and to justify to my members the tactics of this assignment. Moreover, the idea that I gained from this assignment is that leadership is not about being a good communicator but about making the right decisions for individuals. The leadership ability and the leadership behavior helped me to stay calm by explaining that every person should trust his judgement. In addition, when I illustrated the paragraph of leadership ability, my colleagues chose me to guide them, as I can assist them to reach their full potential. Someone asked me in this assignment why individuals should be motivated in the leadership assignment. Then I responded to his question that people must be motivated to finish their task in the required time. There was a decision in this assignment that was not analyzed well, and that was my problem as a leader on this assignment. When I tried to solve the problem of this assignment, I used my research skills to determine the right decision. A good leader must see the full picture to make the right decision, appropriate action, and logical choices.

Leadership Competency
The application of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, McClelland’s Theory, and Self-Determination Theory to enhance student motivation at PMU assignment was completed for the business psychology course. I am going to evaluate my work and skills using leadership competency indicators of success. In leadership indicator 1: Offers vision and purpose that inspires others’ confidence and following. I am at an advanced level.
The leadership role supported me in the business psychology course to explore the PMU applications. I learned from Maslow’s theory that leadership should be empowered to address the individual’s challenges. Moreover, I learned from the scientists’ theory to recommend the right information for my partner. As I was the group leader of this assignment, I allowed my friend to actively participate with me to complete this assignment, which included a lot of details. Also, I created a schedule to monitor the progress of the business psychology assignment. The model of leadership demonstrated a variety of ideas, as we explained in this assignment: self-determination theory and how to motivate the students in the PMU to work hard. In the business psychology assignment, we did not explain the academic goals of the PMU for the students. Then I asked the professors how we could clarify the academic goals for the students, and I justified that they must boost their reading and organizing skills. Awell academic goal will enable the students to gain crucial information.
